The Lee Kay Public Shooting Range is a full-service public range owned and operated by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Conveniently located in the Salt Lake Valley, Lee Kay has seven outdoor ranges open year round.

Lee Kay also features dog training grounds, shooting clinics, and Hunter Education classes — the most comprehensive public shooting facility in northern Utah.

A dedicated outdoor archery range welcoming all skill levels. Open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays for extended evening sessions.

25 / 75 Yard

The 25-yard and 75-yard range accommodates all handguns and muzzleloading firearms — suitable for concealed carry practice, traditional black-powder shooting, and general pistol marksmanship.

Centerfire Rifle Range

100 / 200 / 300 Yard

Long-range shooting at 100, 200, and 300 yards. Accommodates a wide range of centerfire calibers from hunting rounds to precision loads. Multiple shooting positions available.

Smallbore Range

.22 RF Only · 50 Ft

The 50-foot smallbore range is primarily used for Hunter Education courses. Limited to .22 rimfire only. Ideal for beginners, youth, and students learning fundamental marksmanship.

Four trap towers available. A standard round is 25 birds at $6.50, open to wing shooters of all skill levels.
